More on the jumper

Most of No. 2s took place before the game, although Ernie Ladd bull rushed a Buffalo Bills player, George Flynt (sp. ) on the opening drive of the 1965 AFL Championship game in Balboa Stadium and created a problem. The ferocity of Ladd's charge released a fundamental urge in the Buffalo player, who came into the game with stomach cramps caused by some bad food from the night before. The only time I saw a player head for the lockerroom for a No. 2, he wasn't playing and the game was decided. The Buffalo player was not able to seek a more comfortable working condition until halftime. Of course, this is the point where this old newspaperman recalls a colorful anecdote from his magnificent life (I will not tolerate dissent. Three ball boys and maybe the equipment manager would surround the player and pretend to be watching the game. That made no difference to the young men working within view of drivers a hundred yards down the hillside speeding along. In-game peeing usually happened......

Exploring Filters in Digital Photography

Be it adding contrast, sharpness, color, intensity or simply, character to the image, a filter is a hidden weapon in the photographer’s arsenal that, when used in the right way at the right time, makes for some truly breathtaking visuals. These camera accessories can be inserted in the optical path by being mounted onto a holder, most commonly a glass or plastic disk with a metal or plastic ring frame, which can be screwed in front of the lens or clipped onto it. Today, the sheer... In the most basic definition, a camera filter is a transparent or translucent optical element that alters the properties of light entering the camera for the purpose of improving the image being recorded. so be it glass ones, filters made from resin plastic or polyester and polycarbonate ones, there will definitely be something suiting your need and style....

My Camera is Jvc Everio gz hm 300. The lens is 37mm. Please help.

Opteka Baby death 0.3 offers an extreme fisheye effect and a high degree of barrel distortion. It exaggerates depth by pulling nearby objects closer and causing distant objects to recede into the background.

Photo-Video 055 Head Makes Shooting Photos and Video Easy

Just like the all in one still/video solution that HDSLRs provide us, the Manfrotto 055 is the all in one tripod head for still and video.   The Manfrotto 055 quickly goes from vertical to horizontal with the added benefit of being able to shoot smooth vertical video moves for web use in the skyscraper format.   Up until the Manfrotto 055, no tripod head has allowed me to do both easily. My mission is to create striking advertising photography, corporate photography and editorial photography of people for major advertising agencies, fortune 500 corporations and major magazines.   In photo mode it acts like a ball head and in video mode like a fluid head. I shoot photography and video assignments throughout California including Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego as well as the rest of the world. As a people photographer, I’m often faced with assignments that require both a vertical portrait of a subject for the cover or advertisement and traditional horizontal video clip.

Android camera face-off compares Galaxy Nexus to Galaxy S II and others

30.12.11
Despite a three of the five devices not specifically being available in Canada, the UK-based mobile site Recombu compares the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note to Sony Ericsson’s Xperia arc s and HTC’s Sensation XL. The good thing... The comparisons are taken outside at night, indoors with and without a flash as well as a macro comparison and, not to spoil anything, the Sensation XL comes out on top overall. This bodes well for users of the Amaze and Raider, who share the same great camera hardware and software.

Whats some good 120 film to use?

Right now am stuck fujifilm fujicolor superia reala 100 color negative film ISO 100 for my holga and Ilford delta pro 100 B&W for my mamiya m645.

Try Kodak Ektar 100 for your Holga. Originally introduced as 35mm only, demand was so great that Kodak had to release it in 120 size.

Save the Cassowary

I have four favorites:

Ilford Pan F
Ilford XP2
Fuji Velvia 50
Kodak Ektar 100

Landscape photographer.

PhotonRain

I like the idea of putting Ektar in a Holga. That's like putting a fine artist to work in a factory painting garden gnomes.

Flugzeug

Any film in 120 format is great for what it's made for. No rubbish is made in 120.
It just depends of what you do.

robert.l.sanchez@sbcglobal.net

The Kodak Ektar 100 has been getting some pretty good reviews. Haven't shot it in 120, but I've shot some 35mm with very good results.

How long life cycle of DSLR for Canon 500D?

If you owned a Canon 400D, buying the new 50dD may make sense. Most DSLR shutters are tested to 100,000 cycles, the pro cameras up to 300,000 cycles. The camera will still work perfectly at that time, but the “bells and whistles” on a newer vintage camera may just be too compelling. Pros on the other hand, usually change camera bodies every 18-24 months to keep up with the newest technology and their clients get to help pay for them. Three to five years is a good approximation in the case of entry level cameras. For those other than the pros, changing bodies every other model improvement makes sense. Personally I have an older DSLR that is at over 180,000 cycles and still performing perfectly....
